TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER
As part of its project, CPAPI aims to develop and transfer technological tools for monitoring child development indicators so as to support policymakers, by developing an open source platform to both store and merge data collected from the Child Health Booklet, as well as administrative records on children's education and health. The platform to be developed shall be fed by means of mobile phone and tablet applications, be open source and accessible to practitioners and policymakers in the selected municipalities. The center also aims to train public managers to access and make use of available child development indicators when designing new policies.
CPAPI will also work alongside healthcare professionals, providing them with training on the appropriate use of the Child Health Booklet, in an effort to address technical knowledge gaps. In addition, CPAPI will develop training protocols and materials for Community Health Agents and encourage families to request proper completion of the Child Health Booklet at Primary Health Units (UBS).
